If you keep the hygiene pads and the tags on the items, and wear your own underwear underneath when you try them out, then it's fine to return them. Of course you should be able to test things before you make up your mind.
You can return makeup and jewelry as long as the package seal has not been broken. So it has to be completely unopened and unused.
